I never read Shakespeare but I saw some movies from his verses and those were good.
But maybe someday I will do it:)

I read the latter three in school. it wasn't too bad since the books had like explanations on the left side and the actual poem on the right. we had to memorize and present monologues tho :(

don't know how many of you like fantasy books like Lord of the rings but I would like to recommend 3 books called the Shannara books.

the first I read was Macbeth as well and I hated what it was about. I firstly learned to appreciate the language when I read the plays in English. the langauge is wonderful but if you want to read just for fun the subject has to be a good one, also Wink

You should read "His Dark Materials" Trilogy. It's from where the movie The Golden Compass was based. It's great, but I have only read two books

The book is ALWAYS better than the movie. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah I agree...the best example of that is Eragon cause the books are amazing but the movie totally suck!!!!

Of course the Harry Potter books are better than the movies but I like the movies also cause they actually spent some time finding actors who fitted the characters...Very Happy

I love reading but nowadays I never find something interesting.... dislike

ok smile but it wasn't what I meant It was the actors who played the charactes who didn't fit really for me....smile and also they have changed the end in the movie....smile I read the books some years before the movie so that's why I was so picky on the actors Very Happy smile smile The story is nearly exactly the same except the end...Very Happy

Glad to hear that Gamze! You are welcome:) Oh...I forgot to mention 3 books from Simon Scarrow: [i]Under the Eagle, The Eagle's conquest and When the Eagle hunts.

There are probably more in this series but I don't have those. These books are about how the Romans conquered Britain.

grrrr... few months ago I was searching for a book from Steven Pressfield: Waves of war. It's a historical book and it takes place in Greece. I booked this novel in an bookstore which sells older books and if they receive it they sending me an e-mail and all those people who booked it too. So if you fast enough you can get it but if you wait too much you won't cause others will buy it.
Yesterday at 2PM they sent me a message but it arrived only today :S Or at night but I was working so....
I missed the book and now they don't have it No
