thanx still you can look forward to the next issue and the update of the old ones cause I got the program yesterday and I never used it before, so I guess I used only 10% of all options.

the mag is really great
it seems u got along the program quickly. I installed it too to see why u are so excited about it and it is so confusing to work with it.

I was suprised myself how fast I was able to cope with it. I thought it would take me ages to do a simple layout only.
But right now I am fighting with dreamweaver, much more complicated! lol

does anyone need the magazine as JPG files? If you wanna print it, PDF is the best, but in case you wanna let anything print in a shop you might need pics.

It's when she says that other people care more about her gaining weight than herself.

It doesn't say that it says would she find him less sexy if he gained weight then she starts blabbing on about saying that it's racist to say that you shouldn't love someone because they are fat which is also not what they asked her lol1
Re: PAPARICIOUS - ISSUE 2-2009
Ah her answer made think that was the answer... anyway it's a bit stupoid what he asks

this is typical of her! There are not few times when her reply is totally irrelevant to the question! I was working on another interview of her today and in order to realise how she connected the answer to the question you had to read the answer of the next question too
Right now im waiting for download ticket :suspect:

I remark that too very often in all translations. lol. she is too polite to say no I won't tell you so she just replies anything else. good tactic
the same when anyone comes to speak about int career. her answer: eurovision is no entrance to it. as if anyone had ever said that!

(the size of the playback list is terrifying !)

Re: PAPARICIOUS - ISSUE 2-2009
I wonder why. Maybe if we ask Elena:
Interviewer: So Elena, you have made a big number of playback performances, but you have an amazing voice! How do you explain this fact?
Elena: You know since I was little I used to count the days missing to eurovison and always wanted to participate, to defend the colours of my country using my voice and dance. That was one of the reasons I wanted to be a singer in the first place. Now I've done it and won and I feel so proud of myself, but Eurovision isn't a ticket to international success.
INterviewer(quickly scraps a bunch of question related to her "international carreer"): Thanks you Elena.
Now what I really think. In the majority of tv shows and big cerimonies you have to sing in playback and since she goes to many of those events sing, she has many playback performancs

Re: PAPARICIOUS - ISSUE 2-2009
Maybe it's because of that breathing problem she has or maybe it's just that in some of these eastern countries, I'm including Greece in this, they just don't have the facility to perform live, plus to perform live you need to be there hours before for sound check and maybe she just doesn't have the time. Ani Lorak has a great voice but every show/performance she has done to promote her new album excluding the preview show she has mimed. What I find strange, going back to Elena and Greece, when stars go on 'Kafes Me Tin Eleni', they always mime their performance (apart from Elena when she sand "Just Walk Away") but then go to that piano and sing live!!!!

I'm sure it's not complete playback list so the real number is even bigger. But at least she sings live in the clubs and at concerts. That's what really matters to me.

Re: PAPARICIOUS - ISSUE 2-2009
If she was singing playback in concerts and clubs it would be ridiculous, who would pay to see her? Maybe some people would pay if her show was so stunning that the playback is ok comparing to what you get to see, but I dont think her shows are so amazing (like Britney's for example) that someone would pay just to see her dance. She's not a dancer anyway, she is a singer
special explanation for akos: Im not saying that Helena's shows are not amazing, they are, but in combination with her voice skills! Without them they cannot be compared to the shows abroad!
@ Chris: Could be a problem that has to do with equipment, but if the singer wanted to sing live he could go to shows that are big enough to support him! In our case i doubt she even asked why she has to sing playback

I think the shows abroad don't show more sometimes. Nothing wrong with her performances.
