Let's Dance - Press Conference Interview (TV4.se Video)

Interviewer – Now they tried to steal the star-gloss. Is it like that.

Helena – No, we are just so happy and just like to tease. All of us.

Interviewer – How is the mood behind the scenes?

Helena – Fantastic I would say.

David – It is a fantastic mood in the training local. We are all excited psyched for the premiere.

Interviewer – Have you had time to watch the other dancers?

Helena – No, but we all have different dance locals. But it have happened that we have seen Christian and Camilla, some times, outside the dancing local because their time have gone over time. So then they can stand there and repeat… it is better to see it when everything is done, on Fridays when TV4 is sending.

Interviewer – What are you going to practice most on until friday, without saying what dance it is next week?

David – We are going to practice on a little bit of technique. Over and over again on the choreography so it gets good. And to look relaxed. We began pretty good but the last rehearsal have been nervous.

Helena – Yea, it is starting now (The nervosity).

Interviewer – How is that recognized then?

Helena – I watch constantly down on the ground, I stop smiling sometimes

Interviewer – It get strained?

Helena – Mm, it gets like “David, what is happening next now, like oh shit”. But it is just to focus now.

David – And we should train until last second

Interviewer – Are you here for winning?

Helena – I can’t really answer on that at once now. But I believe there is none here that is getting into this competition to not win. Everyone wants to win. I say good luck to everyone and work hard. We are wishing good luck to everyone.

David – Absolutely

Interviewer – What is the worst thing that could happen on Let’s Dance?

Helena – It must be broking a leg or something like that. But I believe that is pretty hard to do. David takes good care of me so I will never broke my leg. I say now, and goes on crutches tomorrow.

Interviewer – Are we going to see any lifts then, do you dare that?

David – Absolutely

Helena – Do you really dare that?

David – Of course! It gets good. Maybe not in the first program but later on if we goes so long, then we definitely give you lifts and all nice stuff like that.

Interviewer – This thing with Let’s Dance, it is a travel in dance. What do you think this trip will mean for you?

Helena – It mean already a lot for me, only that you have already been on rehearsal for two-three weeks now, it almost gets to be a lifestyle. And I really hope we will be in this show so long as possible. And then I believe I will go out and couple dance afterwards.

Interviewer - On the Fridays, or?

Helena – No, not when Let’s Dance is going on.

Interviewer – But then you go out on a club and couple dance then?

Helena – It is very funny. But it is actually very hard too, but it is very fun. It is just going out and dance some salsa, go out and “bugga”.

Interviewer – Are you going to use this for your profession in the everyday life?

Helena – When it is about my job you mean, I have said it already from the first moment that I will steal so much choreography from David and put it in.

Interviewer – Write everything down?

Helena – I write everything down, just so you know. I take this! (While making a dance move)

David – Feel free to do it!

Interviewer – I have asked this to all other too, do you believe you have a body part that works very good with dancing? That you can get points on.

David – Your feet works very well.

Helena – David votes on my feet.

Helena – So easy that was (While “dancing” and showing her feets..)

Interviewer – Didn’t that look very nice?

David – Yes.

Interviewer – What are we going to read on this blog now, that you blog on?

Helena – We began to blog yesterday, with other words Sunday because I do not know when you will show this. So on Sunday we began to blog and we made one post each. And we will blog when we have something really interesting to say. And if someone have questions, you can ask them and we will answer.

David – We will try to get much information about the training, feelings and..

Helena – Now I am tired on David, now I want to choke him. (While holding his throat).. No.. But it will be very interesting, and especially what people will ask actually. Always interesting

Interviewer – Exciting, it will be fun to follow you. Good luck!

From the background – You are from Greece will you do some Zorba?

David – Yes, I have learnt me that now.

Helena – There was some steps David showed me last week, and I like oh god. This look like zorba and like OPA!. There is some steps that can feel a little Greek but that will you see later on. Stay tuned and you will see when we have this backstage camera and when this steps will come into a chorography. I will do my Greekwallop.
