Smells like "Laiko" party
Imagine that you attend a night Greek club/bouzoukia centre. With which song from above would you say "OPA" and would break many plates like original Greeks entertain?

I agree, she has got some amazing greek songs. And generally for me I think the overall quality of her greek songs is higher than her english songs, even though I like most of them as well.

But I want to hear and understand the lyrics directly, not reading on a page what it is at the same time.
Who had you write with before?

with my sister's account, lol. I used it to make the videos.
Anyway, maybe it's the music. Listen to that music and I am sure you will like it. And then if you like the music, you can read the lyrics too.
For example... "Le temps des fleurs" is a french song, and I didn't know what the lyrics meant, But I listened to it, I liked and then I looked for a translation....

This proves that you have never visited Greece.

Cause if someone go there and at night just visit a club or interested in the history and culture of greece....that person would like greek songs even if he/she don't understand the lyrics.

yeah

and for me, you can almost always feel the emotions in the songs even though you don't understand the lyrics

I often prefer songs in a foreign language than Swedish and English songs (for me Swedish isn't foreign

it's ok, if u don't feel like u don't want to, it's ok

If u have given them a chance there is nothing else to do

I'm not gonna try to persuade you to listen to her Greek songs

I find her English songs as real as her Greek. I can't understand her Greek songs but I think her English songs sounds "real" and not a English song because they needed a English song.

Re: Smells like "Laiko" party
One of the hardest poll for me! I absolutely adore all of her laiko songs, and I must say that they are my favorite songs of Elena. I managed to pick 4 of them on this poll: M'akgaliazei to skotadi, Meres aiwnes, Parapono aimovoro and Pote s'ena antio. I love the feeling of those songs, so melancholic, so beautiful!!
as I liked Elena's laiko songs I tried to listen to other laiko singers in greek, but no one is as good as Elena, FOR ME. No one has such great voice, again I repeat, in my opinion, cos some of you might think otherwise
anyway, as Swedish doesn't listen to Elena's greek songs, I must say I rarely listen to her english songs (there are some exceptions that I listen very often).

Re: Smells like "Laiko" party
These are romantic and melody songs! If i am not mistaken her latest laiko song which recorded was "Mi Fevgeis" right? Also, at Fever i think she has sung the best laiko programme everVolkova wrote:One of the hardest poll for me! So you've listened to them, I'm much more relieved. To be honest I'm not very fond of her laika material with the exception of Mi Fevgis and Meres Aiones, which I didn't knew was considered laiko x)
