Re: Ireland 2012
I have just three favourites this year, and it's Cyprus, Ireland and Sweden. They are the only ones I truly want to win. I couldn't care less about the rest. These are the only rehearsals I will watch.

You never know with Eurovision, anything can happen
Re: Ireland 2012
I just love the fact that they have bought rabbits, and named them Euro and Vision. And plus they spending time with both Soluna from Denmark, Trackshittaz from Austria and Joan Franka from the Netherlands. and They tweet like they are crazy, yesterday they had a conversation with Soluna on Twitter
Re: Ireland 2012
So they will take care of these rabbits for rest of (the rabbits) life?

Re: Ireland 2012
probably. hopefully the rabbits will live with their parents in Dublin after Eurovision.
Re: Ireland 2012
Svenskjäveln wrote:About that, how old are them both?
They're 20 and turning 21 in October (I guessed u mean John & Edward?)
if u meant the rabbits I don't know haha xD
Re: Ireland 2012
Yes, I meant John and Edward.
They are older then I though.

well they act younger than their age
they can actually be mature sometimes lol but it doesn't show in media that much.

hehe but their personality is probably a bit younger than their actual age, though they actually can be mature sometimes. but mostly they are just crazy & weird.
Re: Ireland 2012
Svenskjäveln wrote:I guess they are less mature when they are with media.
maybe and I think media likes to portrait them in that way too
Re: Ireland 2012
Svenskjäveln wrote:I guess they are less mature when they are with media.
yeah. but they are naturally weird, they have always been like that.
now they are trying to being received as more mature, they are havin their hair down more often, and their new album has a new sound.

yeah I think they do so to show media they are more mature than they used to be.
They are very weird and crazy naturally still and they always have been haha and fun! That's some of the reasons I love them!
I love them in flat hair but I still miss their spiky hair a bit though that's their thing kinda
Re: Ireland 2012
i know when they were in Gothenburg this January, they went into NK and bought loads of hairspray. Their hairspray bill is probably really expensive, especially if they like use once every two days

The rehearsal:
I get so confused because I get the feeling they don't want to show us all the effects before the show. Now at least the water is bigger, but this time it was no pyro effects, and last time I saw one with that. Maybe it all will make sense when I see it together

Re: Ireland 2012
i have seen pyrotecnics in one rehearsal, and these big water effects in this. i just want to see it altogether. and plus they have to fix the end pose, they are not as confused as in the last rehearsal, but they still don't have that final pose.
Re: Ireland 2012

on their first press conference they were dressed as popcorn

Re: Ireland 2012
Waterline is a really cool song, the other entries in the irish national final were rubbish compared to it.
They are lovely lads I hope they will go and win the whole thing!

Re: Ireland 2012
Who know, but I do not think they will win. Maybe they get a little bit better place then last year. But my prediction can be very wrong too.

Re: Ireland 2012
I hope they will too! And tomorrow is the first dress rehearsal for semifinal 1, can't wait to see their stage show
Re: Ireland 2012
Another rehearsal? Cool, I guess it takes time to learn everything so it fits perfect. Do you think something will be changed then?

Re: Ireland 2012
It's the dress rehearsal, so the whole semi final will be rehearsed on the same day. I guess they will be wearing their stage clothes tomorrow, and put together their stage show.
Re: Ireland 2012
It would be interesting to see how many votes they got. If they got the highest or around 4-5th.

Re: Ireland 2012
I think they placed 4th or 5th Hopefully Sweden's 12 pts will go to either Ireland or Cyprus this year! Basing on the itunes charts, Cyprus has a good shot of getting. But ireland got it last year, so you never know. I know I will be voting like crazy for them
Re: Ireland 2012
How much is voting crazy for them?
I read that you only could vote twenty times in each semi finals and final. So in the final you will be able to vote 20 times.

Re: Ireland 2012
i mean i will vote many times for them i know, but i will only vote for cyprus and ireland in the final, so 10 votes each
Re: Ireland 2012
I'll vote for Cyprus & Ireland, and also for Greece
Maybe once for Denmark and Iceland as well haven't decided yet

19th place. Didn't you all though it would go better for Ireland?

Re: Ireland 2012
Yeah i did, and I haven't got a clue why they placed so bad. they did well on the jury rehearsal, and did well on the live show. Maybe it was the hair? john's hair looked like a poodle. i wanted them to have it spiky. probably that wouldn't have changed anything, but still...
Re: Ireland 2012
Last year they got more media attention, because they were crazy and this year it haven't been so much. Maybe that was one reason?

Re: Ireland 2012
I guess the thing is that people want something new, not something from the last year
they were interesting to me last year, but this year I haven't even noticed them

Re: Ireland 2012
The same for me. This year maybe Ireland got votes from their fans "only", but last year they got votes from fans and people that just saw them and though they were weird and interesting.

Re: Ireland 2012
I think you're absolutely right. But still they got so low... i think azerbaijan's hosting is more than questionable. you know jedward wants to come back next year as well? dunno if they were serious, but it feels like they won't give up before they win the whole thing, or at least place top 3. they are very stubborn, and eurovision freaks as well.
