Length of topic title problem

I've had a problem right now, when I posted a topic that has a short title, the forum says 'the topic length must me between 10 and 255 characters'. Can you fix that if possible or is it put like that on purpose?

Put punctuation after it. Like this ...

its so obnoxious. why should a title need more than 10 characters?!?!?

you can add extra spaces between the words as well.

Some titles require less, some require more and especially topics about celebrities you need less sometimes because some of them have really short names.

there shouldn't be a greater than 10 character rule because its just unnec. why should a title have to be more than 10 characters?
