Portugal 2011

So, this is it, we are in the middle of our national selection. We had 12 songs, 2 very good 4 decent and the rest very bad.

Now we are at the jury voting which goes from province to province like Eurovision does with countries and this counts with 50% of the final result. The juries, until now, gave all the high points to the bad, retrogade songs, although, I know, the public will give the victory to the best uptempo songs!!!!!

Portugal hasn't won eurovision in 40 years because our TV doesn't want to.

UPDATE: THe national final has a Facebook page. It has been attacked by hundreds of angry people dissing the jury. I've never seen a country united like this.

So, basically, I'll renounce my portuguese nationality after what happened tonight. We had great songs and an awful joke song that got HIGH POINTS FROM THE JURY! That band, is very famous amoungst the youth of Portugal, with funny songs for internal consumption!. And well, they won.

Sounds awkward. Well you guys should keep complaining then!

That song won the televote, which is normal because they are very famous amoung the youth. Which isn't normal is a jury that gives them 6/12 points to a group that can't sing!

So you can see how dreadful the pseudo-jury vote was, this song got 5/12 points from the jury and 10/12 from the public:



And this song got 2/12 points from the jury and 8/12 from the public:



Ahh, and our Tv is so stupid that the juries give thei votes based on the studio version without watching the singer performance!!!!!

1- The guy that won was actualy drinking a glass of beer when they said he won
2- They are trying to be the village people
3- The portuguese are beautiful people by nature
