#25 Fisika Mazi (with Onirama) - 93 points



A strong start in the countdown. Performed for the first time in the 2010 MAD Awards (where Elena received 2 awards) and many times later in the joint tour Onirama and Elena went on. Fisika Mazi stands as one of her songs with most youtube views and was the perfect soundtrack to last summer. To be honest, I don't understand why the song is so low in the countdown. Maybe because the song wasn't included in any album and had no proper video except the performance.

#24 Gigolo - 96 points



And number 24 is her third single from the international release "The Game Of Love". It was a moderate success in Sweden, not doing much for Elena's carreer despite charting at #5 in the singles chart. In case you haven't seen the video or don't remember, do it again, it's one of her best and possibly the only with a great storyline.

#23 Tha Mai Allios - 97 points



With only one point more than Gigolo is Tha Mai Allios. Released as a stand-alone digital single as part of the commercial campaign Ivi, it was held from the top of the Airplay chart by the eurovision winning song that year. Still, it was the 5th most played song of the year in Greece.

#22 Den Allazo - 99 points



The first non-single song of the countdown and a huge fan favourite, considered by many, one of the highlights from her latest originals album "Giro Apo T'Oneiro". It should have been a single, in my opinion.

Maybe it isn't meant for me to post in this thread now. But I just need to say this..

I really wonder what place Love Me Crazy is getting. I guess that Baby it's over get 1-3rd place. But Love Me Crazy is a good song but maybe don't come as high as BIO does.

#21 Ise I Foni - 105 points



The last single from the critically aclaimed Vrisko. A great song especially the live version included in the video, which has an improved instrumental and awesome vocals.

#20 The Game Of Love - 113 points



"Swim the seven seas, I would climb the himalayas" Another non-single in the countdown which truly surprised me for charting above some of her latest singles. Nevertheless, I've always considered it one of the best tracks in TGOL and a song to show to people that don't know Elena when I'm trying to show her "funny" side.

19 – Girna me sto Ithes – 122 points (144)



The last “single” from Giro Apo T’Oneiro lands in the 19th place. There are two versions – the ballad one, which is in the original album and the rockier remix “Around the Dream” by Don-K which is the single version. Combining the votes of both, the song would be in the 17th place. Although it wasn’t voted by many fan, it got high points from the majority, judging by the 15,25 “points/fan that voted” average, only bigger in the top 3.


18 – An Isouna Agapi – 132 points



With ten points more and back to back with the other huge ballad from the album, is An Isouna Agapi. It was the first window into the new album, back in early 2010. From what I remember, it wasn’t well received amongst the fans but, from the position it helds now, it seems that the song is “aging” well.

17 – Treli Kardia – 133 points



It took a long time but here it is, with only one point more than An Isouna Agapi, the first single in the countdown from Protereotita. Not standing really out while I was receiving the points, it ended up in a nice place proving that it’s a fan favourite, despite being released back in the last days of 2003, when most of us didn't even dream that an Elena Paparizou existed.

#16 Anapadites Klissis/I don’t want you here anymore – 151 points



I shouldn't have talked before, it took a long time for "Protereotita" to get here, but now it's in force. A great song in both languages and the first "smell" of Elena's solo carreer back in 2003. From what you can see, we like it Elena. A lot! To be honest, I don't know a bad performance of this song.

#15 Teardrops - 152 points




"The single that never was" is what we should call teardrops. If Mambo failed (mainly due to lack of promotion) which song would be better to launch her internationally than this? Anyway, it's a great power ballad, one of those that seems to be in Elena's blood to sing.

I thought Tha Mai Allios, Gyrna me sto xtes & Fyzika mazi would place higher than this

I placed all the songs from 20-15 higher in my top-25 list.

I'm sure that Heroes will be somewhere high too... or atleast I really hope it. As I know many people love this song =)

i love heroes, and it definitely belong in the top 25, but i like her greek songs more

About the results until now, At the first look they seem like non-sense but if you count how many great songs has Helena released then you can see that they are kinda fair. Tbh, I was surprised by the positions of Teardrops, Tha mai allios and GMSH. I expected Teardrops in the top 5 and TMA & GMSH somewhere in the top 10. Now, I can guess that Why, Heroes, Mambo and M#1 are in the top 7. But still not sure..

#14 Panta se Perimena - 153 points



And again, with only point more than the precedent song, comes Panta Se Perimena, one of the biggest surprises in the countdown. Part of "Mambo" greek cd single, it enjoys a respectable fame as part of Elena's concerts, being performed in all tours and many other bouzoukia performances. Personally, it's one of my favourite songs in Elena's "laika" repertoire.

#13 Sai Ke sena - 168 points



Another non-single and the 5th song from Giro Apo T'Oneiro in the countdown. It was considered the favourite song from GATO in a "deathmatch" we did back when the album was out and still continues to be one of the favourites since it placed above all the other GATO singles. Will it be GATO's highest placing song? Stay "tuned" to see.

#12 To Fili Tis Zois - 169 points



The one point difference again. If you asked me before the countdown, I'd consider To Fili Tis Zois one of the biggest contenders to the top spot. I mean, it's one of Elena's biggest hits, a very pleasent track and, above all, catchy! Then, as I was getting the results, the song was always low, especially at the beggining. To be honest, there were times where the song wasn't even top 20. Later, it started getting more and more points(high points in almost every case), until it landed in the 12th position. I guess it's either a "LOVE IT" or "Not so fond of it" song.

#11 Mazi Sou - 178 points



Another big one that falls early. What are the similarities with To Fili Tis Zois? Both were part of an OST and both helped cement Elena's carreer in Greece as both were huge successes. The difference in the countdown is the total points and the average points per voting user. To Fili Tis Zois got 16,9 one of the biggest and Mazi Sou got 13,69 - which means that Mazi Sou generally got points from lots of users but not big ones.

#10 My Number One - 182 points



There's a saying in my country that goes "There's not two without three" - here's the proof, another giant that falls. What can we say about this? It brought the most of us here, it's easily one of the Elena's catchiest songs and a truly pleasure for your hears and eyes when you watch her performance in 2005 Eurovision. Let's pay her the respected homage by seeing it again.

#9 Iparxei Logos/It’s Gone tomorrow - 186 points



Iparxei Logos is the first track from Iparxei Logos the album to enter the countdown (although the english version was released in the game of love, if the points for the english version were to be counted seperatly, the english version wouldn't make it into the countdown). A beautiful, touching ballad that touches everybody's hearts from what we learn from this countdown.

#8 Love Me Crazy/Oti Niotho Den Allazi - 188 points



Elena's newest single enters the countdown at an amazing 8th place with 188 points. If the song is a true favourite or it's just the "new" effect kicking in, we'll know when we do the next countdown (after her new album would be a good time). In my opinion, this song has everything to become a favourite and a big hit, not only in Greece but worldwide. Can't help, I love it!

#7 I Kardia Sou Petra - 190 points



As we get into further into the top 10 and closer to the "200 points"(each song maximum points was 400 given that 16 users voted), the true favourites are starting to appear. I Kardia Sou Petra is a case of another Elena's smash hit from Vrisko To Logo na Zo and the first "P" to appear. A pop rock song with subtle laika influences, product of Giannis Doxas and Giorgos Sampanis collaboration with a brilliant instrumental and brilliant performance by the one and only Elena Paparizou.

Controversially, I think BIO and LMC are overrated. Just my opiniion though.

I actually like Panta se Perimena, it would definitely be in my top 25 I'm really surprised To Fili Tis Zois & My Number One didn't place higher, because they are two of her best songs according to me. I can't wait to see the top 5

#6 The light in our soul/To Phos Stin Psihi – 191 points



Elena's second international single and her most "swedish" single lands a position before top 5. This is the most schagler we got from Elena and it looks like the fans like it. Maybe it's time to do another song along these lines (and don't forget to do 2 language versions since there's no clear favourite between the greek and english version, from the votes I received).

#5 Pirotehnimata - 206 points



We enter the top 5 of the countdown and the "200 points" with Pirotehnimata, the third single from the acclaimed Vrisko To Logo Na Zo. It's a club orientated song and a radio hit in Greece (despite peaking at #3 in the airplay chart, it was the 10th most played song of the year). The video stands amongst her best. #4 Heroes - 217 points



Why there is no video for this song, no one knows. Why wasn't this song ever released as a single in Greece, no one knows. Why she keeps not performing it in her concerts, no one knows. What we really really know is that it was number one at Sweden and a big fan favourite judging by it's position in the countdown.

Heroes got more points then I thought it would get. Amazing, didn't know that many liked this song so much.

It is an GREAT song.

Well, before telling you, here are some statistics:

- the third placed song has an average of 17 points per user that voted in the song;
-the second placed song has an average of 15,06 points per user that voted in the song;
-the first placed song has an average of 18,3 points per user that voted in the song.

I'll also tell you the voting story. #2 song was on the top from almost the beggining until there were only 4 users to count. Then #3 song, which was, until then, the eternal song stuck in number 2, rose to number one. When the last member voted #3 was first, #2 was second and #1 was third. We can all see the difference a person makes

Tiago about "Heroes": I think she never sings this song in her concerts/club performances because she probably thinks it was only a hit in Sweden and the fans in all the other countries are not so keen on it. Another reason could be that since the song honours the sportsmanship and it was sang in an athletic event she may think it is only suitable for that type of event than a concert or a club performance. Who knows..

Yeah, who knows... sometimes I don't understand the songs she puts on her setlists. It's not that they aren't good but there are better ones...
