Listening it everyday, since it was released! I'm 100% sure Jonsi will make this time better in ESC than in 2004! ;) If it will represent Iceland.

I so so hope Greta won't pass. I have nothing against to her(actually I really like her) and her song, but in Final the votes will go between Mundu eftir mer and then her song. And this is sad if instead of MEM some other song will win only because of it. I believe and hope for Iceland good taste!

I'll watch the Semifinal tonight... this time are really nice songs. So I hope the best ones will be in Final, but just no Greta

I've meant all the time Mundu eftir mer! ;)
But today is the song that she is singing alone. And it wont be safe for MEM if she will pass to final from todays Semifinal too. (even though she is already in final ) difficult to explain

Fun it would be if both her songs would pass to final.

I know 0 words in Icelandic
I'm just a big fan of ESC and I watch so many semifinal and finals as possible =) I don't mind I couldnt understand a word. It will practise a bit maybe my language knowledge. For example Swedish MF have done it (numbers )

Aha ok. I am not that big fan of Eurovision so I watch so much shows in other countries as possible. But listening to the other countries songs can be fun sometimes.

There are some words in Icelandic that sounds like Swedish, but I am not sure at all if it means what I think it means or just sound and look the same!

As I understood yesterday the song, what gathered the most votes in SF, but didn't make to final (3rd place) got a place in Final too.

Hmm, you are correct. She got there from the second semifinal. Was chosed yesterday, did it get the most votes of all, except the ones that did go to the final earlier?

Gréta Salóme will only sing the song "Mundu eftir mér". She will not sing "Aldrei Sleppir Mér", so Heiða and Guðrún Árný will sing that song without Gréta.

Yesterday was soo great night. 2 my favourites were choosen to Baku. I'm sure Iceland will do good in this year! ;)

Do we have a translation of the song?
The songs name is in swedish something like "Kom ihåg mig", that can be translation into english like this: "Remember me".

But I don't know more.

i aways prefer the original songs and the original lyrics, but yes, if they want a good place english is always better

It has its charm to be in the original language, but still if we look at how to win. I believe English is the best way.

although I kinda like this song as much in English as in Icelandic, and I didn't thought it would be that way

i really like the vibe of this song, and I actually don't mind the english version. It's so dramatic and mysterious, and I'm just drawn in to that no matter what version I'm listening to.

This has overtaken/joined Italy as my favourite - I love it!

I think with the English version maybe they have more chances to get a higher possition
I quite like the original version though, but it's better this way

i agree, i think this will fit in to the eurovision vibe perfectly. they haven't lost the essence of the song with this translation, and that's really important

the rehearsal wasn't that good. the scenario is great but the voices are not as good as in the national final
