the advent calendar section i sorted alphabetically by topic name. do you want the same system in the discography section?
right now all sections are sorted by "topic with most recent post comes on top"

Re: discography layout question
I think it's okay as it is right now but if you want to work on it then alright
Re: discography layout question
I think in the Discography it would be really helpful if you could fo it by release date.. I mean:
Proteraiotita
Iparhei Logos
Vrisko
GATO..

but if that's impossible it would be nice to sort them by alphabetical order

I think it would be possible if the topics' names were like [Album] 2004 Protereotita, [Album] 2006 Iparhi Logos etc. and they were sorted alphabetically.Labros! wrote:+1Panagiotis wrote:I think in the Discography it would be really helpful if you could fo it by release date.. I mean:

Re: discography layout question
I agree with Alyona about the year; it should be listed, but the [album] thingy is not really necessary I think since albums and DVD's are already separated from singles.Maybe we should only put DVD in brackets to be able to distinguish the DVD's from the albums.

it's possible if everyone just uses the release date in front of the album name.
as derek said, the [album] info is not that necessary, I think it's enough to have an [DVD] at the end of the topic.
thanks for your opinions!

Re: discography layout question
ok done. do you like it this way? I think the singles don't need the release dates in front of the title, it seems easier to me to have them sorted by title.

Re: discography layout question
Maybe if the release year was in the right part of the title? But I like it this way!
Re: discography layout question
Is this true?
Once on the official website has been written, that either "Teardrops" or "The Game of Love" would be the next single, but none of them made it into a music video at the end.
Well I guess it is, since you mentioned it but do you remember if it was said exactly the way you expressed it above?Like that there was some kind of dilemma? Asking just for the record...
Btw when you say so called album, you mean "homonymous"? Not sure if you can use "so called" even though I understand where you are coming from...just might cause some confusion to members who might not use the same expression in their languages.
Btw, just some notes:
- Fysika Mazi was never released as a digital single. So far it has only received airplay (radio and on MAD TV) and has been used for promotional purposes (Summer Tour).
- As far as I know "Sweet child o mine" served the same purpose as The Rose and Zombie. It also received airplay as a music video from MAD though it was never a single.
Aside from those + a couple of typos I noticed, very good work.It must have been time consuming for you so kudos for that!

thanks I hoped someone would reply to some of them. fysika mazi also wasn't on iTunes? I think I remember someone saying so. It's nowhere else though! well, if it had airplay and the mad video it deserves a thread however.
wanna do a thread for sweet child?
i think we should call all songs which had kinda music videos "singles"
thanks also for the so-called thing, I'm too lazy to change it now however haven't got much time anyway and just did everything "on the go".
i know from my memory that on the official website was written in 2006 that either "Teardrops" or "The Game of Love" would be the next single, and that they just hadn't decided yet which one. i think that was the last update ever of the old version of hp.com. i remember it being there for ages as top news.

Hey I agree about the singles.Never said these songs don't deserve their own thread. They're singles (cd/promo/radio) whether released or not (only not sure about those MSC 2 promo tracks such as The Rose, Sweet child etc..). Just pointed out the fact that Fysika mazi was never released in any form as you have mistakenly written.Apparently it was meant to be released on itunes but eventually it wasnt due to the different record labels the artists belong in.It's being said that it couldnt be released under one label.
Nevermind about the "so called" thing.I think people will get what you mean...
Thanks for the info regarding the status of the "The game of love" singles. The old website is still available btw...Maybe I should have a more proper look another day.
OK I'll do the Sweet child thread!

Re: discography layout question
Reb, I think it would be a good idea to create a new section at the discography one called ''Radio / Promo Singles''.
You know, many people can't tell the difference between a cd-single and a radio one and, the fact that all these topics are in the same section makes it even more confusing

Panagiotis wrote:Or put behind [CD Single] and [Single]
But then digital singles are the CD singles of this era so why call "Gyrna me sto xtes (Around the dream version)" a [single] when it has served the same purpose as any other CD single of the 00s? In my opinion if we do the brackets thing, we should only separate promo/radio/music video singles from those that have been released either physically or digitally.

Re: discography layout question
I think people just need to read the threads, way too much work to put these brackets behind.
