New Layout - Opinions

Rate the new layout, report issues and suggest ways to make it even better

It looks nice and it will be interesting to see how it will look when next months banner comes up. The colours works very good right now anyhow! And I think it will look good with other colours too, but still it will be interesting!

Though it is a little boring for me that the "send post"-button isn't on the correct place and I need to scroll right to see it. But well, if only I have the problem I assume something is wrong for me. It would be interesting to hear how it looks for other people, if it is only me that have the problem. Maybe there is someone here who uses Opera and the same resolution as I am.

I give it 7.

I really like the new layout! It is much more clearly arranged now. I like especially that it is much easier to see now where new posts are, where a sticky is etc.

I wonder a thing, when there is no new posts in a thread. What is written on the picture then? Is it "No news"?

That's a problem But I cannot find anyway to fix it. Since you are the only one having this problem I suggest switching browser

There's an index in the bottom of the forum Go to the topic list and scroll down
It's easy though. When there are new posts Helena is colored, when there are not, Helena is not.
The star means that the topic is popular, and the lock that the topic is locked.

I give it a 10. Looks really good:)

I like my Opera.
I can stand it, after a while I will be used to scroll to right.

Oh, it was nothing. I looked in the thread and the forum index and didn't found anything. I didn't look in the forum.
Of course that system is easy, but I still wonder what the "image" says, when there is no new posts in it?

i like it a lot but it takes me ages to see all new posts on forum because my internet is really slow but there is nothing you can do to fix that

The only solution I can see on that problem is having an alternative template where there are minimal of things to load.

I can edit posts, so Lara should also be able to edit posts?

i rate it with a 9! Excellent work and organization! This will help new members and more to be directed easily to whatever section they want. Contribution Points is a very nice idea also.

What is missing is a new icon for locked topics. I mean the one which appears next to "New Topic" (see here to understand what I mean )

lol. Ask Tina. I sent her likd 5-6 files, each time with new changes. And I am still fixing problems.
About the Locked icon, it will be included in the next update

There's a time limit for editing your posts, and I think that it depends on if someone has posted after you posted your message. That's why the button appears and disappears

For me it works as it should, but it seemed the "edit" button didn't show up for the member "Lara".

I can't spot any imperfections to the recent changes but since you are such a perfectionist in terms of organizing the forum as appropriately as possible, I'm sure you will find ways to further improve it in the future so it's a 9 from me. Great job!

I guess most people make it in Photoshop.
