Re: Book Collection (except dictionary bookS)
our books are spread over 4 floors... I even kept my children books, I love to read Petterson and Findus for my birds they also seemed to like Karlsson by Astrid Lindgren no wonder, they can fly like him and behave like him
usually if i like novels and they are series I buy all of these series - Martha Grimes, Rita Mae Brown's Cat Novels, Deborah Crombie, Carolyn Haines, Dorothy L Sayers ....
I recently ran out off series and tried one by Val Mc Dermid. has anyone read anything by her? the books are written in a realy wonderful way and are so full of tension, but they are way to brutal for my taste... wished they could be less cruel...

Re: Book Collection (except dictionary bookS)
usually I try to avoid series cause sometimes they don't publish every book of them. For example I have a historical book series and they still didn't publish here the last book of it! :S
Though someitmes I just can't resist if the story is too good so I still have some series

yu mean that they don't translate every book to your language?
have you ever tried reading them in english? you are fluent, you wouldn't have any trouble with it for sure.

Yes they don't translate some of them obviously. Well you are right I would't have problem since I already read lots of Star Wars books in english cause they didn't translate them to my language. And I'm already thinking about buying what I missing for a long time now:)
I don't have any other choice now anyway

there are a loooot of books here, but all of them are not mine and seems they are not interesting. usually, when I read book - I take it from a friend or library. the only books that are mine are gifts.
- Spoiler:
- but I have a lot of dictionaries and language books, I love them

My most serious book I have is "The Diary of Anne Frank" (Swedish version is called "Anne Franks dagbok") and I have not read it yet.
But other then that I believe I only have very small books that is not worth writing up. My book collection in my bookshelf is small, but I have a lot of Donald Duck pockets. But that is not books.

I don't have a very big book collection, have the swedish versions of his dark material trilogy, all the eragon books, both some of the swedish version and the english and all harry potter books in swedish except the last one that's in english. I think I have a few others but I think this is the only ones worth mention.
My parents have a lot more though, my dad loooves fantasy
Although the most of the collection is in our country house.
Maybe I'll take a picture of some of them when I'm coming home today
Re: Book Collection (except dictionary bookS)
I have to admit that I have a big collection of books, including all Harry Potter books, all Pinelopi Delta's books, all books of special greek authors, some books by David Mitchell, Victoria Hislop, some Dan Brown books. In total, I have more than 200 books in my room. Many, many books...

I recently finished reading The Maze Runner trilogy. I really liked it and now there is a prequel coming out later this year.
