Paparizou Forum interviews Helena - Participate in our exciting project in association with Lionheart Music Group!

Dear members, we are extremely happy to announce that Paparizou Forum will run an exclusive project in association with Helena’s Swedish record label; Lionheart Music Group!

Please submit your own question for Helena and you might be one of the 20 lucky Paparizou Forum members who will watch Helena answering their question in an interview that will take place at Lionheart Studios in Stockholm at the end of July/beginning of August!

Taking into consideration the promotional aspect of this project, and factors like loyalty and activity as well as capacity to meet Helena in person (which varies depending on where you live) the administration team has settled on these entry requirements which seem fair to us:

- By 19/6/2013 your post count must have numbered at least 40 posts if you are a member from any country except for Greece and Sweden*
- By 19/6/2013 your post count must have numbered at least 200 posts if you are a member from Greece

*For members in Sweden there are no requirements relating to their post count

Procedure:

1) Submit your questions for Helena here: https://paparizou.forumotion.net/privmsg?mode=post&u=31
Make sure you submit your question in English. If you are from Sweden, we assure you that if your question wins a place among the top 20 questions, it will be forwarded to Helena in your mother tongue but we require all questions in English for the first stage of the procedure where all questions must be understood by Swedish as well as non-Swedish members.

2) On July 5, all entries will be directed to a voting platform where Paparizou Forum members will have a say about the questions by voting for their favourite ones.

3) Once the voting process is over and the 20 winning entries have been selected by popular vote, we will reveal the usernames behind each winning entry and winners will be asked to either:

a) record a video message with their question (Lionheart as well as the administration team of Paparizou Forum have both expressed a clear preference for this option!)

b) record an audio message with their question

c) or alternatively place their question in a text file (for those who prefer greater anonymity or don't possess the equipment that would allow them to pick one of the above options)
and obviously forward it to us.

4) Lastly, we will forward the 20 winning entries to a Lionheart Music Group representative and they will take care of the rest. Very Happy

Guidelines/suggestions:

Try to think about relevant and sophisticated questions with potential. What is something you have always been curious about? What is something you've been noticing in Helena's singing style/behavior/stage presence that you have never been able to explain or comprehend? What's a question that not a single journalist has ever asked her? What is something you have always wanted her to talk more thoroughly about?
Selfish questions including requests or implications e.g.: "Helena when are you visiting my country for a concert" or "Helena would you ever go out on a date with one of your fans" are probably not the smartest ones you are capable of so try to stay away from them as much as you can.

Deadline for submission of entries is July 20 BUT PLEASE make sure you have submitted your entries by July 5 because that is the date when all questions will be directed to a voting platform and all of you will be expected to start voting for your favourite ones.

The only problem (for me only) is that even many times i have thought a lot of questions for her,in that period i haven't clear mind to think a really good one.I hope that in the next days i will think something,but even if this won't happen,i think many of you will have some great questions for her!

You guys don't have to send any video/audio file at this point. You should just send your question in text and in case it's among the 20 most popular ones you will be able to decide whether you would like to record a video/audio message or not ;-)

Here's a thought: You could ask her about her setlists/songs she never sings on her live shows. I know this issue has always troubled you too. You could make it sound friendly by phrasing this as: "Helena would you ever consider doing a concert where you'd sing some of the less well known songs from your own discography?" But I don't know what you have in mind, that was just a tip. Keep Paparizouing!

I have some thought which might be important: In case many people ask a similar question, these question should probably taken together as one and then people can decide which one sounds the best and vote for this in a second round of voting. It would be stupid if the same question is asked 5 times in the same poll, everone likes it and gives a vote to one of these but in the end it won't win cause there have been five options with the same question.

I think that's a very good idea. It would be boring if it is many of the same questions but just different asked.

Luckily we've already put this in practice by giving feedback to all participants when something doesn't look right about their entry (that includes a situation where a submitted entry is very similar or identical to another entry). Very Happy

We just hope you guys keep an eye on your PM inboxes for the first 24 hours following the submission of your entry (in other words we'll probably send you feedback -if needed- within a day).
