yeah, they are so sweet. and the song is good. but my concern is their voices, i hope they don't sing out of tune anywhere. But they will, i think, have strong background singers, who can help their voice up. Though i have to say John & Edward's singing skills has improved.
Re: Ireland 2012
Jedward get tattoos for Eurovision
Ahead of representing Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest in May, Jedward have shown just how douze points hardcore they are by getting Eurovision tattoos.
Sean Venter from Dublin tattoo studio Zulu tattooed John on his lower arm and Edward on his upper back – two of the most painful places to be tattooed – with MUZU.TV there to witness the inking.
John said: “My tattoo really hurt but Edward and I did it for Eurovision as we so want to win the competition for Ireland.”
Edward added: “Having a tattoo with John is really cool. It’s always going to be a special memory for us in 2012, especially if we win Eurovision.”
Jedward will take part in the first Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Final in Baku, Azerbaijan on Tuesday May 22, with the final taking place on Saturday May 26.

I actually don't know if the tattoos are completely permanent, because usually the skin gets irritated and becomes red. But again, I don't have much experience with tattoos. Maybe they are semi-permanent or something?
If they are real, it's actually really cool. I would never have the guts to tattoo something that big in

I would never want to tattoo anything in that size either.
But I wonder if they really are real too?

Yeah, i really want someone to tell me if they are real or not. It feels so sudden also, they revealed this news yesterday. So I haven't completely taken it in yet. I know they have said before that they didn't want to have tattoos, because they wanted their skin to as natural as possible. I guess they changed their mind.

I guess you will find out soon. How long do a fake tattoo hold?

I don't know actually. I tried to google it, some fake can last for a couple of months i think but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe they'll tell us soon. I was hoping they did them to show off in their music video for Waterline (which hasn't been recorded yet). I guess time will tell.
Re: Ireland 2012
If it is fake I think they want to have it over Eurovision. So maybe it will begin to go away when Eurovision is. Not so good.

Haha, the whole tattoo thing was just a April fool's joke. I know many of my friends suspected it, and they were right!
They tweeted this:

Yes, I know. But I wonder if it was a tattoo that hold for a while or was it totally fake?

Yey! I love it! I'm so impressed they did all the work themselves
and edward did a great job cutting it!
And the surroundings are so cool, Tokyo seems to be a great town
btw, did you watch it?

Re: Ireland 2012
nowthat i saw this i'm jealous of Jedward. I'm dying in home because it's really hot in here and they have water in the stage
Re: Ireland 2012
i wish i could have some of your warmth. it's cloudy here and it has been raining the last few days
anyway i like the stage performance, and the water background is really cool.

Re: Ireland 2012
The water was not as brutal as Eric Saade had with his song in melodifestivalen 2010.

Why not so much water?

Maybe the eurovision staff don't have the time to clean it up if it was to be more radical? i don't know. they are last so they could have stepped it up, but if they qualify, it's not a guaranteed they will get last slot.

It was just a little joke even if it would be cool with more water.
And I think it would be unfair if they could have more water then anyone else because they are last. So no...

I don't think it's unfair if they would of have it bigger, it's part of their routine. If the other participating countries want water, they can have as much as they want, fine with me.
But wouldn't Eric's performance been unfair then? With all the glass breaking, and the fact that he wasn't even near to the last slot when he competed. And plus the fact that the guy from Cyprus after Eric were supposed to be barefoot when he entered the stage?
But I don't think they want anything too radical on stage, they probably will be wearing crazy outfits, and have their spiky hair.
Here's a picture from their press conference afterwards:
Re: Ireland 2012
But look at this:
Two countries have something that need to be cleaned, it is the same thing and takes the same time to clean up. But only the country that is last can use it because it takes to long time to clean up if it is in the middle. Wouldn't that be unfair?

yeah, ok, i see your point.

But is it so, that a person that perform last can have a "better" stage performance?

Re: Ireland 2012
maybe so, but they still have to adjust it in case they're not placed in the last slot in the final as well.

I do not have time to watch it (and do really not want to watch it. ), but do they say anything more weird than usual?

yeah, sweden is their favourite this year, and they see her as their biggest threat.
and yes they are as random as usual, but i love it
And i just post things here to keep it updated, I actually don't care if someone watches it or not, hehe. But if someone writes anything unfair about them, I will talk back, because they are truly the nicest guys ever, and no I'm not partial, they actually are.

Well, good.
I do not think Jedward have a chance to win, but good luck to them.
