Croatia 2012: Nina Badric - Nebo

Nina Badric is the one that sings for Croatia 2012.

"Nina Badrić (born July 4, 1972 in Zagreb) is a Croatian pop singer. Before starting her career in the entertainment industry she used to be a bank teller. She began performing in early 1990s, exploiting the sudden popularity of dance music, but her repertoire gradually became more mainstream. She's also very popular in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Slovenia.

She competed in "Dora" - Croatian selection for Eurovision Song Contest 4 times. She won 7th place in 1993 with "Ostavljam te", 10th place in 1994 with "Godine nestvarne", 18th place in 1995 with "Odlaziš zauvijek", and almost won in 2003 with "Čarobno jutro", being a runner-up to Claudia Beni with "Više nisam tvoja". Nina starred in popular Croatian television show Mjenjačnica, where she swapped for a day with a zoo animal guard."

I think it's better with an English, more people understand and more chances to get votes.

As far as I know she doesn't. But she covered the song ''I'm so excited'' (I believe that's the title).

I didn't manage to watch Dora, but I've heard the song now. The song is good, quality music, but I think it won't finish good on eurovision, I believe ppl will find it boring, but we'll see.
And yeah, I knew that Nina will choose a song from her latest album Very Happy

well i don't think they will find it boring last year you had "fast'' song and what she done nothing and Marija won with Molitva which is also ballad

not many changes are done, the arrangement is a bit different. It's definitely decided that she'll sing in croatian Very Happy

I'm glad for that, the lyrics are beautiful <333 it's true that after more than one listening this song grew on me, but maybe she'll surprise on eurovision, we'll see.

if you don't like the song, doesn't mean it won't get any votes. I know it won't win or something, but doesn't mean that anyone won't like it. Some people, including me, would give votes to some song that is sang in native language of a country, cos for me that should be the most interesting part of the contest smile

And maybe the meaning of the song would get lost in a translation too. Like Finlands song, the lyrics is the song for them this year and I do not know if Finlands song would be good in English.
