Shaved Kostas looks a little bit like Sakis, but unshaved Kostas doesn't look like Sakis at all.

I do definetly agree that with the right hair Kostas not only looks like but has been compared many times.

I felt Kostas wasn't that great at the national final 2008. cherry

If Martakis represent Greece the people will say he is the young Sakis.And if Greece want to send this year something different we can not send Kostas.He is not different.He is also dance pop.

To me the comparison between Martakis & Sakis is like Kalomira & Elena.
They are both pretty good at what they do but they will never reach the talent and stardom of Sakis and Elena respectively! Keep Paparizouing!

What have Elena to do with Martakis and Sakis confuse

The point is not whether Martakis is better than Sakis.The point is that if we send Martakis we would have nothing differently than last year.

because i think the crowed will like her. she speaks english perfect and she did an great performance .
i want her more than any other artist. everyonce wants big names, we saw what happend with sakis.

I like having big names but I more than worry about them going down the plughole in the voting or their reputations tarnished more than anything else. Even with Sakis or Anna Vissi I was worried about their reputations going down or being voted lower than usual. Maro Lytra I agree about her being in the ESC this year, anybody who hasn't been I agree with but I have a different opinion about multiple times the same artist goes in though.

Few moments ago, Star Channel's morning show aired the information that Katerine Avgoustakis will represent Greece in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster for years now have secure information regarding Eurovision. The broadcaster seems to risk confirming the news which for months now oikotimes.com airing. in the meantime oikotimes.com can reveal that ERT is not aware of this confirmation and also we are aware that Katerine had also some discussions with Polish broadcaster for Eurovision.

The broadcaster also claims that the 2010 Eurovision project (either NF, or song presentation) show hosts will be Giorgos Kapoutzidis and Zeta Makripoulia (the ones who presented the 2006 song selection for Anna Vissi).

ERT is officially not confirming the news and it would be a huge surprise how an internal selection of Katerine will be posed in Greek viewers as the artist, although having a huge success in Europe (Poland, Belgium) is totally unknown in the country and we expect massive and negative reactions as usual."

I think Star channel jumped to conclusions. Just a few minutes ago, Star now says on the bottom of the screen something like "Katerine Avgoustakis for Greece Eurovision 2010?", with a question mark, meaning they aren't sure. They are also now claiming that Kalomoira will host the shows instead of Kapoutzidis and Makripoulia.....

I don't care if she isn't well known in Greece, Greece can't vote for itself, its the international audience that is important. I'm not too impressed with her songs, but we'll see what she brings to the NF.

Elena is unique and nobody can appear on stage like she did in Eurovision. i'm sure that women is talented but it won't be good for her either if people will pay attention to her ONLY cause some people compare her to Elena. They should focus on her talent.

Well they shouldn't compare and that is the point. Yes Elena won Eurovision and till this women won't win they shouldn't compare her to Elena and even that time it wouldn't be right. Cause 2005 at Eurovision belongs to Elena as a winner and even if Greece will win again it won't be the same since Elena has won after a very long time.
And once again I don't like if some people compare another singer to her ONLY cause she go to Eurovision again. That's not right in my opinion. I will be happy if this women will win again but she will never be another Paparizou as they claimed!
