Thanks for the info, I didn't even notice. It seem Sony went "song shopping" and picked up a few from Scandanvia written songs from the same publishing catalog. Wink

Actually they are not the same.

The songwriters to Baby It's Over are: Arto Tamminen, Nalle Ahlstedt, Hanne Sørvaag

Demo, she's a favourite along with Luca; just for the record.

However I think she will take the 2nd place as votes from pop music fans will be divided between her and Antigoni (and possibly Valanto and Triimitionio too) so I can see Lucas claiming the victory, unfortunately. Hope I will be proven wrong because she's amazing indeed! And her song is brilliant!!!

a bit off-topic, but do you know which song i think of had done well at eurovision with helena's voice? an isouna agapi. i would have loved to see it in esc. (no, i don't want her to participate again, it's just about the song and her voice as an entry). I hope one day Greece will send Stavento, with some song like mesa sou.

ok i found a working link. I don't wanna dance! everyone voting for another song must be crazy. I think Greece has a top 5 warranty if they send her. The only thing which shouldn't be done is to give her a typical eurovision choreography. the song needs unusual visualization, but then she will rock the stage!

It was my 2nd favourite entry (music-wise) too but after the stage presentation they came 5th or something.

Order of preference:

1. Nikki (She's awesome, great star, danced great, sang well but there is room for improvement - maybe she was too nervous cause otherwise she has a stunning voice)
2. Antigoni (Love her stage attitude, you can tell she really loves what she does, she got a special timbre in her voice but song could have been better - much better in fact)
3. Valando ( Beautiful voice, song was very nice but a little too common maybe)
4. Kokkina Halia (OK song, kinda poor stage presentation but they did what they know how to do pretty well)
5. Lucas feat. Stereo Mike ( awful(!) singing by Lucas, poor stage presentation and scenery, Stereo Mike was cool and song has a very powerful message and there is something very "archetype Greek" about it which is a +)
6. Triimitonio (I found the song below average since day one, but they did a pretty good job with the stage presentation. Towards the end of the performance it became a little "too much" though)

She obviously had issues with her live vocals but she was still much better than Louka and there is room for improvement + she's only 19.

Antigoni's performance:

She was great but the song didn't help her much.

Valando's performance:

Very good performance by Valando!

I can't be bothered about the other 2 performances. Look them up on youtube. lol!

Just for the record Nikki reached 1st place in televoting with Loukas claiming the 2nd place whereas the jury vote brought Louka on 1st place, Valando 2nd and Nikki 3rd.

Apparnetly the final was a HUGE failure in ratings as well. Only 16.1% overall , the lowest in over 10 years! I bet only Loukas' family and friends were watching and voted. lol!

Lol, aside from the joking, there were lots of the complaints about the poor quality of the show. And it went up against the premeire of 50-50 on Mega, which got massive ratings apparently.

well.... Nikki was hot as I saw on the video but yeah she was obviously nervous :S too bad.
Loukas' song is not bad but I don't feel it so strong to stay in the final but there are always surprises on Eurovision so good luck Greece!

Antigoni's song is terrible in my opinion but yeah sometimes she looked a bit like El. But only very little.
