If Universal gets legally the rights to release the song out of Greece, why not? Maybe she sings with another label that deals with Sony about BIO and LMC.
Something similar like the singles released from TGOL in Sweden in 2006 by Bonnier (while they were released in Greece by Sony).

I didn't know she was released by Universal in that time. Good to know, even when the result was not good there.

Αs far as I know the situation is as follows:
Sony Music will have to fund a certain organization (don't know its name but it's recognized by ifpi) which will certify that the amount of sales reported by the company (e.g. 6000=gold) is valid, or else they can do an unnoficial ceremony which won't be recognized by ifpi (that's why you see albums such as Hatzigiannis's "To Kalytero Psema" and Rouvas's "Parafora" non-certified in the charts though they have sold copies exceeding multi-platinum status).

I think Greece works in a different way compared to Spain. I mean, here fans join their efforts to make a song #1, but seems that in Greece they don't care about itunes. Very good observation Ruben. Plus iTunes is not even that big in Greece and many fans prefer to buy a physical record with the song included instead of a digital copy but I'm sure it will climb the charts once the song starts getting played on the radio. More airplay always translates to more downloads on iTunes in Greece.
