I'll be watching today Greek NF too and ofc cheering for Aphrodisiac.

Probably I'll be like a zombie at school tomorrow. 6 hours sleeping only. Sounds few for me. But this all is worth to be watching this National Final!

The song will do well for sure I think though in her performance I found many similarities to Elena's in 2005 .

Το be honest i wasn't fan of Afrodisiac but when i watched all the performances, i realized that Eleftheria Eleftheriou was the best choice by far.I have to say also that i'm getting used to this song hearing it some times

I agree with the "back to recycling" comment though. Wink

She's pretty and performed well tonight but she's very short and she doesn't conquer the stage. As for the vocal part, well her studio voice sounds mediocre at best, can't imagine her live voice can sound better.

Nothing but women around Elena's height (quite tall but not too tall) look better and more impressive on stage. Just my opinion. Thanks for the tomatoes, I will use them to make pizza or I will save them to cast them on Akos when needed! lol!

I have always hated than in both Greek and Cypriot finale they sing on playback, but I guess in a shopping mall it could be barely live. I like the song a lot, Eleutheria's dancing was much better than what Ivi did on stage in Cypriot finale. I'm really looking forward to see them both on stage in Baku.

I do also think that we have chosen by far the best song to represent us in the ESC. Eleutheria is pretty, she dances well and she has a good voice so I think we will get a good place this year! Good luck Greece!!! Very Happy

I do not think she sings her best in the first rehearsal, to save her voice. I think most people doesn't sing their best in the first rehearsal, when it getting closer it will probably change and in the last rehearsal they sing it like they will do in the final.

i hope you are correct because this was really bad. The dance reminds of My Number One. Everytime Greece sends a girl the song/choreography is equal to MNO dislike

40% Elena, 40% Kalomira, 20% other influences. I don't see anything original or outstanding about this song or this (rehearsals) performance. It's not bad but I feel like we've seen it all before. It was very groundbreaking and spectacular when Elena did it in 2005, it was cool with Kalomira in 2008, now it's just a safe and predictable choice. Still quite enjoyable. I can hardly see our entry outside the top-10 but I won't be very supportive of it this year.
P.S. Eleftheria is better than I expected but she's still nowhere near this:
She only managed to copy Elena's clothing well. Or was it a coincidence? lol!

I totally agree with you. Greece is by far my favourite ESC country but this song is nothing compare to the last 2 years. We've seen all of this before, plus if she sings like she did yesterday ...

I think she was ok, I'm sure she's saving her voice smile

She doesn't remind me of Elena that much to be honest, she has a totally different charisma smile

I can agree maybe not the best Greek song but far from the worst either smile

in my opinion it's waaay better than Sakis Rouvas for example Razz

The song don't resemble too much either, Kalomira's song resembles waaay more.
It's not like Elena was the first one ever with greek influnced pop Razz

I defo don't think the song is a Elena copy, maybe inspired but not a copy.
In my opinion both the song and her resembles Aysel with Always (Azerbaijan 2009) a lot more than Elena and MNO.

I'm also crazy in love with almost anything related to Greece or Greek but I only vote for them when they send good songs smile

I agree with svenskjäveln a bit though.
if I like a song I'll vote for it I don't care which country who sends it smile

And if my fav countries sends bad songs I don't vote for them.

Greece and Armenia are two of my fav ESC countries, I always have high expectations on them smile

I've actually liked all the Greek enries (more or less) from 2005-2012 except Sakis in 2009 Razz
